When Lawyers Cross the Line: A Cease & Desist Breakdown

Welcome to Dave-Aronberg.com, where we document the rise of legal intimidation tactics used to suppress truth, chill public speech, and rewrite reputations through force—not facts.
On June 12, 2025, attorney Dave Aronberg sent us a cease & desist letter on behalf of Lisa T. Miller, threatening us with criminal prosecution for “extortion” simply because we published:
- The fact that she joined our program,
- That she received a full $10,000 refund after multiple chargebacks,
- And that she later sued us in federal court for defamation and copyright infringement.
What was our “crime” according to Dave Aronberg? Asking Lisa to reimburse a small portion of team time if she wanted us to take down public-facing posts that documented her behavior. That’s not extortion. That’s business. And it’s supported by extensive written documentation.

We don’t bend to pressure. When someone files false DMCA takedowns, privacy complaints, or legal threats to silence criticism—we shine more light.

Who Is Dave Aronberg?
While we can’t speak to his broader career, we can tell you exactly what he did here:
- Claimed public blog content with documented screenshots was “defamation”
- Said suggesting Lisa Miller was harming her reputation was a “malicious threat”
- Accused us of violating Florida’s criminal extortion statute for telling the truth
If you’re an attorney or journalist, we welcome your take.

We’re building a library of cases where free speech is under legal attack. Not every cease and desist deserves to be obeyed. Some deserve to be published.
